Nick is a musician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who began his career producing songs for top names like Zendaya, Ariana Grande and Wiz Khalifa which led to the opening of one of LA’s premiere recording studios and a grip of entertainment companies to back it up. Nick now drums for alternative pop rock band Half the Animal and is the founder of Gross Labs, education based platform Find Your Grind, as well as music enterprise Big Noise.

A twenty-year industry vet, Jon Cohen was the co-founder of prominent indie label Vagrant Records, home to such acts as The 1975, Dashboard Confessional, Edward Sharpe and countless others. After selling the label to BMG in 2014, Cohen took over as head of recorded music for North America at the German conglomerate. He left BMG in 2017 to join Big Noise in 2018.

John formed notorious Orange County band Goldfinger in 1994 and quickly became an A&R representative for Warner Bros. Records & Maverick Records where he signed The Used, City Sleeps, Story of the Year, and Mest.
He has done production work with Good Charlotte, The Used, Atreyu, Escape the Fate, Panic! At the Disco, Boys Like Girls, 5 Seconds of Summer and Blink 182. Most recently he produced the seventh studio album for Blink 182 titled “California” which nominated he and the band their first Grammy nomination for “Best Rock Album”. Also in July 2017 John was awarded the “Influencer” Award at the Alt Press Music Awards. As Head of A&R at Big Noise, John started the company with the idea to find and produce the next up-and-coming artists and continue his track record of developing successful acts world-wide.
Marketing & Project Management
Adam Muhlbaum’s experience in records and publishing spans multiple areas of expertise including marketing, project management and operations.
After graduating from NYU with a degree in Music Business in 2013, Adam began his career at BMG where he worked on multiple #1 albums and singles from blink-182, Janet Jackson, Iron Maiden and many others. After working as the head of sales & operations at Dim Mak Records, Adam is now focused on developing Big Noise and its artists into powerful forces in the music business.
Director of A&R, Publishing,
She works day-to-day with Big Noise songwriters, producers and artists, creating collaborative opportunities, as well as reviewing and critiquing their new works.
Previous to working at Big Noise, Livia was the A&R Manager at Arthouse Entertainment, home of artists and writers, Jon Bellion and Kara Dioguardi. She was integrally involved in all facets of the company’s operations, including A&R, marketing, management and business affairs. There she assisted in the development of writers and producers, Ingrid Andress (Charli XCX, Matoma, Why Don’t We), Feli Ferraro (Normani), Rabitt (Andy Grammer), Pete Nappi (30 Seconds To Mars, Shinedown), and Mark Holman (Florida Georgia Line).
VP of Sync Strategy
Jess came off the road after years of touring nationally as a musician and established custom music house Sound Revolver in LA where she has produced, written and composed hundreds of songs for other artists, TV/Film series and Ads/Commercial.
Projects through SR have won a Telly Award, Clio Award, and gone RIAA Certified Gold and been featured on everything from HBO to Dreamworks, Nickelodeon and national ad campaigns for major brands. As VP of sync strategy Jess will be maximizing creative sync opportunities on behalf of Big Noise Music Group.
John graduated from Sacred Heart University with a degree in Marketing in 2017 and began his career as Steven Tyler’s assistant where he coordinated his daily schedule and worked on developing their management roster. John is now excited to work day to day with Gross Labs Founder, Nick Gross where he deals directly with management, A&R, and hospitality.

Eli is responsible for strategy, business development, revenue and operations, and most recently served as senior vice president of events for Universal Music Group, where he ran the company’s North American events business. Eli was previously co-founder of Townsquare Live (part of Townsquare Media) and also held SVP roles with Live Nation corporate, Wasserman and Left Bank Management, working with clients such as Elton John, Rod Stewart and the Bee Gees.

Brian Rucker serves as Senior Vice President, Events & Partnerships at Big Noise Live. Brian oversees the implementation and execution of all events and integrated brand partnerships on behalf of the company.
Prior to joining Big Noise, Brian was Head of Live Industry Relations for publicly traded Pandora Media. In this role, Rucker was in charge of all business development, brand marketing and partnerships with the live music industry, including cultivating and executing on marketing and revenue-generating deals with artist management, talent agencies, promoters, music festival owners and Fortune 1000 brands. Brian has held past executive management positions at Townsquare Media, Live Nation and Wasserman Media Group, where he led business units in the creations and implementation of live entertainment properties, including large-scale music festivals and lifestyle events. Brian lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two young children and is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley.

As the Director of Brand Partnerships, Nicole is responsible for managing Big Noise Live partners and overseeing event logistics and execution. Prior to Big Noise Live, Nicole was an award-winning account manager working across experiential, digital, and social channels with clients spanning CPG, food & beverage, non-profit, pharmaceuticals, financial, and tech industries. Brands and media partners that Nicole has worked closely with include L’Oreal, Keurig and BET. Nicole’s passion for client service and attention to detail makes her the ideal person to be leading our partner initiatives.

Crystal manages all aspects of production and operations for the company’s expanding events portfolio across festivals, tours and experiential agency work. Her experience spans operational roles in a variety of large-scale events including X Games, Aspen Snowmass, AVP Pro Beach Tour along with brand activation management for clients such as Lexus and REI.
