BigNoise is a socially conscious studio. Our team is genuinely dedicated to sustainability. We ride skateboards to work. We are currently renovating a new building using green practices. And our day-to-day routine includes next to waste-free recycling. We understand there is an impact to doing what we enjoy, which is why we give it our best to affect positive change in the world. It’s challenging, but the rewards are plentiful.
Our commitment to becoming a carbon-neutral studio include:
- Our partner hosting facility runs high-performance, low-voltage servers and recylces 100 percent of all hardware components. They have also offset their infrastructure through contribution to reforestation projects.
- BigNoise is (soon-to-be) located in a reclaimed church that was built in 1911. Being renovated to exceed LEED specifications, we chose to use materials like foam insulation, low-e windows and doors, and reclaimed lumber.
- Our kitchen is equipped with a composting bucket, many recycling bins and green cleaning products.
